Believe it or not, some of the typically Chinese architecture in the video game of #BlackMyth: Wukong are existent in north Chinaโs #Shanxi, a province well known for long-standing sculptures, grottos and murals.
It is estimated that over 20 settings in the just released game were modeled on the real scenes in the province, like the Little Western Paradise in Linfen City, the Hanging Temple in Datong City and the Pagoda of Fogong Temple in Yingxian County.
As schools in the country are out due to summer vacation, the release of the game has stimulated peopleโs curiosity of the northern province. Data of some online traveling agencies in China indicated that the search for trips to Shanxi surged 17 percent on Tuesday compared with the search on the previous day.
